Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Convening Leaders (Jan. 6-9, Pittsburgh, PA)

PCMA Convening Leaders is an education conference attended by more than 4,000 top industry professionals. This year’s focus was on disrupting the norm. DDC was a key sponsor of the Innovate & Elevate Arena, an immersive learning environment featuring creatively designed education sessions. The team also facilitated conversations with subject-matter experts.

PCMA Convening Leaders: Client Breakfast (Jan. 6-9, Pittsburgh, PA)

DDC hosted a breakfast for more than 70 clients to kick off PCMA. The team took time to meet and thank clients for considering Washington, DC for past, present and future meetings.

Event Service Professionals Association (Jan. 11-13, New Orleans, LA)

The Event Service Professionals Association is the only professional association dedicated to advancing the development of ESMs and building the bottom lines of the facilities and convention bureaus they work for. Our focus for the annual meeting was to maximize interactivity and discussion among members.

Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA) (Jan. 29-31, Greensboro, NC)
Attendee: Sharmane Medaris
RCMA is the only faith-based, nonprofit international association composed exclusively of religious meeting professionals. RCMA members represent over 800 diverse religious organizations and are responsible for planning 14,000 conventions, meetings, assemblies and retreats. DDC will meet with the following organizations while at RCMA: Youth Specialties, Arrowhead Conferences, Association of Free Will Baptist, Aglow and National Baptist Deacon.
