DC Design Tours was founded in 2015 by former architectural designer and lover of all things brick and mortar, Carolyn Muraskin. Carolyn left her drafting desk and started touring so she could talk about buildings rather than draw them. Carolyn is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Architecture and has lived in the Washington area since 2006. All DC Design Tours guides have a design background and are passionate about the architectural history of Washington.
