Influenced by the Beaux-Arts architecture of the Willard InterContinental and the French-inspired design of Washington, D.C. by Pierre L'Enfant, Café du Parc opened as a French restaurant in 1997 looking to bring a slice of France to the Nation's Capital.
Located on Pennsylvania Avenue across from Pershing Park, a National Park home to the World War I Memorial, Café du Parc is reminiscent of a Parisian-inspired sidewalk café.
