Celebrate the Lunar New Year in grandeur with a spectacular giant dragon art installation, an awe-inspiring symbol of prosperity and good fortune for 2024 – the Year of the Dragon. This magnificent creation, towering over the Conrad's atrium, is a breathtaking fusion of traditional and contemporary artistry, featuring intricate details, vibrant colors, and dynamic movement to captivate the essence of the mythical creature. Designed and installed by local Chinese architect and artist My Ly.
In addition, food and beverage activations are inspired by the Year of the Dragon, including a specialty cocktail menu in the bar and lounge after 5 pm. View the menu here.

Join us for an exquisite culinary journey as two master chefs celebrate the Lunar New Year with a collaborative dining experience. In this special event, Chef Ria Montes and Chef Erik Bruner-Yang will fuse their culinary expertise to present a tantalizing 5-course menu that pays homage to the rich traditions and flavors of the Lunar New Year. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Power of 10 Initiative.
Chef de Cuisine of Estuary, Chef Ria Montes brings her philosophy and passion front and center as she embarks on creating a new, innovative take on modern American cuisine.
Chef Erik Bruner-Yang is a three-time James Beard Foundation award nominee and the chef-owner of Maketto in Washington, DC. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chef Erik started a non-profit organization called the Power of 10 Initiative. Since its conception, it has provided over 500,000 meals and groceries to needy communities.
